Biography
My name is Staci McAdams and I am very excited to have joined the Bowdon High School family. I graduated from Bowdon High School in 1990 and then continued my education at West Georgia College. In 1995, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in middle grades education and began my teaching career in Paulding County, where I taught for two years before returning home to Carroll County to teach at Bowdon Elementary. I began teaching in 1995 and during that time I have earned a master’s degree in middle grades education and an education specialist degree in special education from the University of West Georgia.
I started teaching at Bowdon Elementary, which was then grades K-8, where I taught math and language arts to seventh and eighth graders. In the year 2000, I transitioned to Bowdon Middle School, which at the time was Jonesville Middle School. Throughout my time at Bowdon Middle School, I taught sixth, seventh, and eighth graders math and language arts as well. During my 19 years at Bowdon Middle School, I spent seven of those years teaching students with disabilities. In addition to teaching students with disabilities, I served as the in school coordinator for special education for six years.
I am married to Michael McAdams and I have two children, Jake and Josi Gilley. Jake graduated from Bowdon High School in 2017, and Josi will graduate from Bowdon High School in 2023. I am proud to say that I’m very much invested in the community and the Bowdon school district.

HAND SANITIZER- I WILL HAVE A BIG BOTTLE FOR THE CLASS TO USE AS WELL.

**WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHARE PERSONAL ITEMS SUCH AS THOSE LISTED ABOVE. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU SEND THOSE ITEMS WITH YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL EACH DAY.
DONATIONS SUCH AS SANITIZING WIPES, SANITIZING SPRAY, TISSUE, AND PAPER TOWELS WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
