Ms. Lydia Clarke is the choir director at Mt Zion High School. She was inspired by her high school choir director to pursue teaching and hopes to implement the same welcoming atmosphere in her classroom. Ms. Clarke is a summa cum laude graduate with a BA in Music Education from Jacksonville State University (2020). While at Jacksonville State Ms. Clarke was section leader in the choir ensembles and played flute with the Marching Southerners. Her professional associations include: National Association for Music Education, American Choral Directors Association, and Sigma Alpha Iota Fraternity. She is an Alabama native and is excited to be teaching in Carroll County.
