Bowdon FFA Officers Team Participates in Opening Ceremony Contest

The Bowdon FFA Officers Team recently competed at the Region Rally held September 11th and 12th at State FFA Camp. Team members include front row (L:R)Hannah Fite and  Ben Williamson and  back row (L:R) Ryan Ayers, Marlin Samples, Mickah Jarrell, Craig Huddleston and Jacob Kelley.

FFA Career Development Event

Bowdon FFA member's Mickah Jarrell (1st), Davion Kirk (2nd), and Marlin Samples (3rd) (L:R) recently competed in the Bowdon FFA Agricultural Tractor & Machinery Operations & Maintenance Career Development Event. These events allows students to demonstrate the skills necessary to safely and efficiently operate a tractor. Participants in the event take a written exam and answer problem solving questions related to tractor servicing, safe operation, care and maintenance. Participants also drive a tractor and are tested on tractor operations.

Bowdon FFA Wildlife Team Participates in Wildlife Contest



The Bowdon FFA Wildlife Team recently competed at the Wildlife contest held September 29th at Sonoraville High School. The Bowdon FFA Junior Team placed 1st in the event, and the Bowdon FFA Senior team placed 2nd in the event with a total of forty one teams present.

Bowdon FFA Team Places in Area Land Judging Career Development Event



The Bowdon FFA Land Judging Team recently placed 2nd in the Area I FFA Land Judging Career Development Event. The event was held at Taylor's Farm in Clarksville, GA on October 1st. Team members include (L:R) Jordan Tucker, Bobby McDaniel, Dakota Blackwelder, T.J. Snow, Ben Williamson, Brooke Williamson, Marlin Samples and Alex Morgan.
